Sifu Raymond Wong
Born in Hong Kong, Raymond Wong immigrated with his family as a small child to the United States where they established a residence in Washington, DC. He studied kung fu informally with his father and then studied Jow Ga kung fu under Dean Chin until Sigung Chin's death in 1985. In 1986, he established the Wong People Kung Fu Association, which has produced a number of respected kung fu teachers and competitors. In 2000, he began to hold an annual kung fu tournament, which has grown to be one of the largest traditional kung fu tournaments in North America. He continues to teach Jow Ga in Washington, DC.
